I can see Tom Willis really upping his game there in the Zack Mercer mould. Similar players and both seemingly a long way from the World Cup so why not play out in France for as long as you can getting that experience and hopefully some money.

Have seen the rumours that Marchant is also heading out there to Stade and I say good for him.
Has improved year on year, gained experience in NZ, done everything that’s been asked of him by Eddie, got bigger, quicker, more consistent, stayed injury free, incredible in the air, won the league with Quins and been one of the best 13s around as well as playing on the wing and still can’t get a consistent look in with England - I think whilst Eddie is around players have got to look after number 1 and then reevaluate with whoever comes in next.

I'm sure we've all seen this before.....It rings truer and truer as time passes

I would love to know how many coaches and back room staff he’s churned through during his tenure.

Shame he doesn’t get through a similar amount of scrum halves

Haven’t watched it yet and probably now won’t bother.

What a depressing time to be an England and Wasps rugby fan.

Really enjoyed watching France again, as well as keeping tabs on Biyi, Wade, Brookes and hopefully Brad soon in the French league, that’s where I see my rugby viewing heading.

Not sure a championship team can shell out around 750k a season to keep Launchers and Jack.

Willis is going to hit his peak so cannot be playing championship level if he wants to play for England. Joe is probably done with England now so absolutely has to cash in as much as possible over the next three years or so, surely only Japan or France can offer that for him unless an English club lose a similarly high paid player in that position, of which there aren’t many.

Exeter were rumoured to be in for him a while ago, but that might only come with a Johnny Gray exit, even with money freed up from Simmonds being off.
Sale maybe depending on the Du Preez brothers and Quins are definitely still short of quality at lock.

You’d think any club out there would also be on for Stooke with the quality he showed upon signing for us.
Hope Cardall might still have some interest from Gloucester

Wade looked pretty sharp on the extended highlights, lots of work in field and popped up on the right a few times too.
Hope he signs on for more

Great game, thought she might have passed to Ellie Kildunne, also a former wasp, who was really matching her for speed, but she backed herself and was a great try.

30 straight wins or something too right?
I’d definitely fancy us against NZ

Saw some highlights from last week where Wade was involved in two tries, he looked fast and powerful.
Will have to see if this can be watched somewhere

Hardwick, Tunney and Bacon all sign for Ampthill, very good moves for them

Do we think our bid will keep the club fully professional next year?
Only Ealing operate this way in the championship I believe and not sure we’ll have the money to be paying Jack and Dobby 300k as well as everyone else we hope will come back

Stalking on Instagram:

Tom West is looking for a room to rent in NW London from December/January

And Jacob’s girlfriend is selling all her houseplants - a trip to NZ maybe?

Can I ask an extremely naive question?

If the the training ground is owned separately, the stadium is too, the players and staff are all redundant, the P share is gone and there are zero assets, probably not even a tackle bag then what are the administrators actually selling?
Just the brand and rights to the name?

Tweet from BB:

Leicester Tigers have appointed Matt Everard as senior academy coach.

It’s a good move for him. He originally came through at Leicester as a player but wasn’t retained after his u20 days when we nabbed  him.
As with Charlie, a long term deal and stability, without having to move house would be very appealing right now I imagine

Given that England are dreadful and the Premiership seems driven to become a total bore fest with the same teams playing the same matches every week, it’s hard to stay interested in the ‘home’ game right now.

Meanwhile both France and Ireland are playing exciting brands of rugby and it’s hard not too will them onto win against a turgid England. From there it is a short hop to taking a greatest interest in clubs like Racing, Leinster and Munster.

I’m on a similar train of thought actually.
My long term goal is to spend a lot of time in retirement one day in France or Ireland renovating a place, so will potentially now have to pick an area based on a rugby club 😂

Porter on the bench for Bristol.

Bacon lines up for Ampthill as well as Tunney and Bell playing for their seconds, although haven’t heard anything official on moves for them, guess they’re just happy to keep playing rugby
