I’m surprised that MM appears to have given up playing as I assumed he would re-appear with Worcester or similar.

It wasn’t that long ago he was an England international.

Good luck to him.

Yes - Bobby had big boots to fill when Paul Smith left the Evening Telegraph to join Wasps but he has done a fabulous job.

I read the Premiership stories on the news now site and Bobby’s articles regularly feature there. He works very hard to report on all things Wasps.

Nice fellah n’all.

Well done Bobby.

Wasps Rugby Discussion / Re: So who is going to Bordeaux

We are!

European weekends are still a relatively new experience for Coventry & Warwickshire’s and West Midlands Waspies so I expect another decent following will make it to Bordeaux.

See you there 😀

Well that was truly awful, some players I’m afraid are not good enough to play for us.

The New Zealand prop who I can’t be bothered to name is awful what the hell did Dai see in him. Terrible scrummaging, how is he 2nd choice, some very dumb discipline play.

We are in serious trouble even with Saracens losing 35 points.

I’m sorry guys but I’m really angry with our play and how we are coached.

It was Ben Harris that struggled at scrum-time not JT-A.

Once the inevitable naming rights deal is sorted things will look better..

My back 3 = Minozzi (or Miller), Kibirige and Watson.

Bassett needs a rest.

I didn’t see what happened to Dan but he looks crocked and won’t be going to Japan unfortunately. Probably Spencer?

Willie Heinz pulled up injured with a dodgy hamstring.

Is Dan going to Japan?

I saw Tom Cruise and family at Coventry rail station yesterday (or the day before).

Short break somewhere?

Neil’s - how do you know Sisu haven’t paid Wasps their legal costs?

This sounds to be a very sensible move by Wasps and ends any ridiculous speculation that the club were not committed to the area.

Henley in Arden is a great location.

Excellent wasps selection.

Not sure I have heard of too many of the London Irish squad to be honest but they will be fired up on Sunday.

It appeared to me that Charlie Mathews was calling the shots at the line outs.

I doubt that responsibility would be given to someone who wasn’t going to play next week.

He played very well and I agree with BB that it was the best game he has played for Wasps.

Malaki was treated twice before he came off.

Not sure but it looked like a dislocated finger from where we were sitting.

Anyone else see it?

Good morning all,

The weather in Coventry is good for rugby right now. Not sure of the forecast for 3.00pm

Our squad is not quite at its strongest today but its probably going to be too strong for Worcester.

We ought to dominate teams like Worcester and run them off the park but I’m a little nervous the squad might serve up a frustrating small point win.

I really hope that Dan, Lima and Fekitoa click.
