I don't seem to have the same animosity/disappointment about the leaving of either Wade or Daly that some on here are showing. Although I greeted his parents at the Argentina game with the "not sure I should be talking to you now you are with the enemy" we had a good chat / laugh and as it turned out Daly was probably the best player on the pitch that day..... My view is that you only have one life and you need to get on with it before it is too late..... As for the comparison of Kolbe to Wade.... what they had/have in common is box office talent, two of the most exciting players that I have had the pleasure to watch over the last 15 years... small in stature but dynamite. Wade was unlucky with selection to the lions and injury which dented his opportunities, Also a succession of England coaches have more often than not gone with a  safety first attitude.... only time will tell if Eddie should have taken fiver or even given Wade a chance..... Jonny May seized his opportunity and has not looked back.  I still remember the hat trick Wade scored against Leicester at Adams Park various tries against Leinster in Dublin... talk of average competition is just one mans opinion !! Pound for Pound i think Kolbe is probably a better  all round player than and I was excited to see him play live in Japan against our new signing Minozzi. Having survived the Typhoon i shall be at the Ricoh on Sunday, looking forward to this years crop of Black and Gold

As someone who was situated on the edges of the Typhoon who missed out on a trip to Yokohama I am reasonably happy that my life wasn’t put at risk along with Mrs H. Decisions were made early enough for most games for supporters to make other arrangements. This tournament has not been ruined, no team with a valid chance of qualification has missed out. This was a devastating Typhoon for many hundreds of thousands of people and a few Rugby supporters have been inconvenienced. Luckily for me I stayed in my hotel room almost all day yesterday with biblical proportions of rain falling outside..... Today the sun was shining and we played golf, the course in amazing condition after 36 hours of continuous rain. Life continues for us but not many unfortunate souls in places we have already visited on our visit. Yes I maybe out of pocket to the tune of £600 but that’s why I have holiday insurance. Looking forward to returning to Blighty on Wednesday and getting back to domestic Rugby, see you all on Sunday at the Ricoh 😄😄

Hi guys, reporting from my Typhoon shelter in Japan .... sad to be missing England France tomorrow but not ruining my amazing holiday in Japan. Looking forward to a victory tomorrow vs Wuss, be good to end the cup comp with a victory. Great some new names are getting a game and some players back from injury. Japan has been brilliant great Rugby awesome golf and so much that the people of Britain could learn about being polite helpful and humble. They also have the most ridiculous toilets, self driving  golf buggies cap parks and always needing to remove ones shoes 😄😄

Wasps Rugby Discussion / Re: Hip replacement - advice request
« on: September 10, 2019, 02:25:24 PM »
I have to say two much older members of my family in the 70's and 80's have had hip replacements and had some serious side affects relating to vascular dementia, obviously nothing can be proved medically but my wife's uncle never recovered from his operation and was never the same man again and more recently my mother in her late 80's had a similar op and although before she was not in the best of health, afterwards she went downhill fast and now six months on its just a matter of time !!

I don't want to seem alarmist and i am sure that in younger people this is not an issue but its worth checking out all the facts and asking the questions

Hi Folks

I have two tickets available for the Rugby World Cup England vs Tonga in Sapporo looking for a good home, they were bought as part of the England Team pack and therefore can't be sold through the official channels. the original price was 20000 Yen each, obviously a complete bargain!!, I am not able to go to this match although will be at the following three games and South Africa vs Italy... COYAFW) Come on you Past and future Wasps. Make me a reasonable offer for them.

be interesting when the other DW site resurfaces abut the reaction to Umaga re-signing, doubt there will be too much humble pie in evidence..... just find another area to whinge.....why could Di and the coaches only get 4 Spice girls to sign up :)

Just to say Tom Robinson was right and 8 graduates were promoted, I had heard Umaga was one of those so a little surprised not on the original list
