« on: December 17, 2018, 04:06:27 PM »
Although I wasn't in Toulouse (thank you BA) , through the grapevine I understand there will be a big announcement this week.

Not sure if this is about arrivals or departures...... watch this space.

Hi I am Richard, 59 next month, been actively watching Wasps since January 2004 at Adams Park, had several guises on the DW forum, usually changed after I post something really stupid, about every 5 years, some might say every other week. Run my own Dog Walking /Boarding Business with my wife Michelle, she is not a great Rugby fan although has been to Treviso and Toulon,,,, dunno why. two children Alex formally a Wasps ball boy now a Policeman and Olivia at Loughborough Uni. Missed my first Away European Match this weekend for about 7 years mainly because British Airways are sh!t and rather than land at a nearby airport to Toulouse thought lets go back to Heathrow!!! Slightly disillusioned with Rugby and Wasps  right now but make every Wasps home game when I am not on holiday which seems to be getting more and more Regular. Currently trying very hard to get back to my old golf handicap of 12, still a long way to go but helps me to not get so wound up by all the crap on the DW site. i really don't know how some of them get out of bed in the morning......

nice way to introduce ourselves

Wasps Rugby Discussion / Re: Danny gone

My main concern is that with Danny running the backs and the moves, are we starting from nearer scratch with a new FH? I guess its not just down to Danny, but will this mean a different way of playing? What is Lima's methodology?

Still, it might only have been two years, but won't be forgotten.

bit more than two years for most of us old timers

He had an excellent game yesterday. As did many in the team.

need to have Miller as backup kicker, might be fullback if we are without daly and bassett

daly played on wing to combat expected ford aerial bombardment and de jong at 13 performing well so why change him, daly wants to play 13 but more importantly wants to play anywhere.... so says Dai

Dai talks about those not considered no 1 choice considering other deals, for me that is one reason Guy might be off but contradicts the need for Bassett to leave..... until this weekend having played 8 out of 9 premiership matches plus Two european Games, Bassett is rested to allow the best performer from the AI's to play in a position he is obviously confident in.... following on from the fish and chip paper report that Northampton need a replacement for North. 2+2 = 5... Bassett is first choice left wing and has been for more than 18 months, so unless Saints are offering silly money, why would he leave. I want Cips to stay because without him we are just not flowing. Haskell is getting better and better and Dai would probably want to keep him if he can. Both of their England chances are slim to no chance under Eddie Jones so big money else where may lure them away.

I think Macken falls under the 2nd choice needs a fresh start, Armitage seems to be doing nothing so expect him off too.
