Reading that back this morning - that does come across as a bit bitter...but when England had their great 2016, I was enjoying watching them play - but that's been eroded since - a feeling of arrogance and a bit of an "attitude" from certain players has led be to enjoy watching Wales and Scotland play with what seems more joy.

I enjoy watching rugby for its own sake - but I really find the back slapping and taunting and the rest which is more common these days rather tedious - much prefer watching club rugby as a whole - though avoid Sarries games as I find  too much of a similar attitude too often.

Probably just me!

They say Eddie is Marmite. It is not true, some people like Marmite.
All the good work of Lancaster on culture has gone out the window, and the selections are equally baffling as in the latter part of Lancaster's reign, with results to match.

Well, for a start he's blaming Lancaster (or is as good as). 2016 was our peak, I don't think we can better that unless something interesting happens.

England have been playing by numbers for a good couple of seasons. When this Plan A works, and the opposition are where they want them, we are a very good side. Once a team works us out (Wales this 6N) or changes things up during the game (Scotland at HT this 6N), our Plan A falls to pieces but they seem to still try and execute it regardless.
Either that is because the players do not have a Plan B (most likely) or there is a Plan B but the players are unable to execute it.

I consider Eddie Jones a coach that can bring you short term success (as he did in 2016) but is no Warren Gatland who can adapt over a 10 year period in the job, as he did with Wales.

Thing is - if we were going to play badly because of 2015...shouldn't we improve as time passes?

When we won 18 games in a row we still had those problems there and they have come to the fore in a couple of games recently, which is beneficial for us because it's made it quite clear what we have to fix to be the best team in the world," Jones said.
