Really good read - enjoyed the back ground stuff and in these last few weeks with the A team its been more obvious that "we" are feeling more like Wasps again after a torrid pre post xmas period

Really nice comment on Mike Le B - someone who has put in a real shift this season, way ahead of what would have been expected except for Jimmy getting injured. Still think there is a lot to come from Mike, our version of Billy 12T perhaps?

As an old prop, I've always thought Brookes was class, just needed to get the work in on fitness and start enjoying himself - a good pre season and we'll have a massive asset going forwards - hope Dai is (appropriately, of course :-)  ) hand on with the props - not much you could teach Dai!

Callum looks like someone you want to get on the pitch sooner rather than later, and I am now looking forwards a lot more to net season

I'm also an ex front row (hooker or TH) and I agree 100% about Kieran. Pity the injury came when it did. He looked fit and was enjoying his rugby. In fact I would've started him in front of Jake, he was looking  so good.

Hi there R

I'm an old LH and he is exactly the sort of TH I would have hated - has "size" in a good way and would feel like pushing against a wall

His set up is excellent and he looks planted - reminds me of how I would imagine a tight head Fran Cotton and seems to add a decent rugby brain too
