I think its a non story, a small section in the blindside column..you'd have expected a front page exclusive if it had any standing.

I wouldn't shed a tear if it was Sale, I find Mr Diamond a thoroughly unlikable chap.

Steve Diamond has done a tremendous job with Sale on a limited budget up till now.

He is good with his waifs and strays; plays better rugby than many teams ( eg Exeter): gets his teams fired up and he appears popular with his squad.

I think players know where they stand with him and realise they don’t want to get on the wrong side of him.

I'm not questioning his ability, merely stating that I don't like him. I know not everyone will agree, but that's just my opinion.

Bobby Bridge mentions in a recent article that online rumours point towards Jacques du Plessis.
Can’t find any other rumours other than his name being suggested in this thread.

I just saw that article too, Bobby has used this forum before for information for example when I found the Theo Vukasinavic signing in an RFU disciplinary report which he then used an exclusive, however this time I have no information and it was a complete random guess based on nothing at all except an article about Montpelier cap issues i had read just before seeing this thread.

2 + 2 = 463

He’d be a great signing, big lump and whilst I admit I’ve not seen him much since he’s been in France he was very good coming through in SA and remember it being a massive shock when he went and signed for Jake White when still so young.

You could make a prima facie case for more than one club, but without a bit more info we are guessing.
I personally think the Chiefs sponsorship stinks, but Sale and Bris would not be surprising......

Thought that myself. The only place I've read it is here. Let's try it out. I'd heard it could be Victor Matfield!  :)
