Sadly recruiting Lima was one of the poorer decisions that Dai made. A lot of cash for very little return.

I agree with Trevor that if all our backs were fit and available, he would watching from the stands at most of our games.

Yes, without a doubt at full strength Lima doesn't make it. I think we have a shot at a truncated HC. For me Rodney Parade is not the place to blood a young 10. I have lost patience with LS too unfortunately - there always seems to be a howler lurking and it's not normally offset by a positive. But in this circumstance I'd put him in.

Lima's mistakes against Falcons were all avoidable, the intercepted pass was clearly a moment of madness or lack of judgement/awareness, either way he didn't turn up. The team looked energized once Minozzi came on, his zest and ambitious running is what a fullback should be about. Lima looks disinterested a lot of the time, and is clearly a man with a speed dial to his agent enabled. I have been patient, however enough is enough, a failed experiment that has cost an awful lot of money. Given the mini injury crisis and the need to rest consistent performers like Jimmy, then we have to include him.
It was fine when I left it.....

There was a time here when criticism of Lima did not go down well at all, but I think most people have come round  to the fact that he has just not done it and never will.  I think he was a really poor fit for Wasps as a ten, and I know Cipriani had faults that we all like to forget, but frankly I am struggling to name a first choice ten of ours who I would not prefer over Lima. Maybe I did overreact in a negative way when we signed him, but I still think a huge chunk of Dai's travails came from signing him as a replacement for Cipriani.
I like the guy but he has done nothing at ten and now at 15 he offers moments at best, and considering his salary, which admittedly is not his fault, he has been a disaster. Nicky Robinson and Danny both brainfarted, but they offered something alongside. Lima does not even come with Walder-esque solidity.  Lima offered less than they all did at ten, at least for us. I think Dai might regret signing him looking back. It was the start of it going wrong.
Anyway I would rather go with Atkinson, and let Lima see out his time covering on the bench or starting 15 if we lose MM. More so in Europe which is a fantasy right now. I think with the pressure off we will get more out of Lima the sub than Lima the starter.
