For most, England has probably gone.

Kpoku and De Granville might have a shot. But doubt Vunipola does, must be behind Smith, Simmons and Umaga.

Who won't get a look in themselves because Ford and Feral will be there, even if they have to develop special zimmer frames to keep them going (as long as EJ remains anyway).

All players denied it, with multiple lies -

Nothing was forthcoming until the players were bang-to-rights and only then did they confirm that management had their facts correct.

So to say they were compliant in the investigation is pretty loose.  They might have been in the interviews as part of the hearings, but they steadfastly denied everything.

So no mitigation, compliance or remorse then. Instead of halving the sanctions they should have doubled them for the lying and subterfuge.

It was not a mistake it was a blatant attempt to do something they knew they weren't allowed and to lie to try to get away with it regardless of the consequences.

Rather shows how far of the moral compass is at Saracens — their players seem unable to distinguish between cooperating and bare-faced lying.

Also, are we to assume that their community service will amount to little more than helping local estate agents to erect their signs?
