Mixed feelings on this as I suspect it means either Jeff or Biyi are leaving, but given two weeks ago it appeared that Saracens were trying to sign him to replace Koch I'm delighted.

I agree it means we're losing 2 from Miller-Mills, Alo, Scholtz, TMA. Given we're getting Koch and potentially Ryan, I wouldn't be surprised if it Was TMA and Alo leaving. But maybe Miller-Mills or Scholtz is on a short deal. Keeping Alo (on current form) with the new signings would be insane depth.

That point about Saracens is very interesting. If Alo left us, perhaps that's where he'd go. And I recall other players, when they left us recently (e.g. Matthews) played as well as they did because they were free agents trying to garner attention. Maybe he's been told he's leaving and trying harder... Who knows?

33 years old makes me think he could just be a straight swap for Scholtz, who has impressed me slightly recently. Not sure I’m desperate to keep him though. All of a sudden we are awash with proper TH quality for the first time I’ve been a Wasps fan. Being a former TH I’m like a dog with 2 tails right now.

Given how much work JTA puts in around the park I’d be sad to see him go but if we’re being honest he’s only a moderate scrummager in spite of big improvements. He still struggles markedly against decent LHs. I love watching him play but I’m always hoping no one drops the ball. Koch and Ryan would both bring good mauling technique from their time at two exceptional mauling clubs. We need to keep Alo.

Vincent Koch and John Ryan signings suggest to me that JTA is leaving.

Popular guy and good around the park but his scrummaging is not at the level to dominate the opposition and create a platform for the rest of our game.
