Was surprised to see it was a kick-off at 7:45 tonight as it's a BH Monday. The other A-League games are at 3 & 4 pm today.

Might have gone up to watch if it was mid afternoon.

Wasps A will be looking to finish the season on a high as they travel to Heywood Road to take on Sale Jets in the Premiership Rugby Shield on Monday night (kick-off 7.45pm).

The squad includes six first-team players along with 16 from the Wasps Academy set-up, with Loughborough Students lock Thibaut Flament the only guest player.

Wasps will be aiming to make it four consecutive bonus-point wins in the competition after 19 tries in their last three games has seen them defeat Northampton Wanderers, Leicester Tigers A and Worcester Cavaliers.

Entry to the match tonight is £10 for adults and £8 for concessions. Parking is included but limited.

Charlie Matthews out injured or rested? Maybe needed against estate agents? Launch had a nasty shiner against Exe and Jamma went of with an arm injury.

After Sale’s preparations for the weekend just gone they are having to field a very young team here.
Wasps would hope for another bp win in this one I would think

Thought we might have seen Jimmy on the bench here but obviously Dai thinks he could be in with a chance against Sarries

12-47 Final score. Sharks Twitter has videos of each try - Sirker's first is good. The rest not bad either.

Thanks Neils for the sharks twitter, definitely worth a look.

Sirker’s second was very impressive indeed, and great work from Tom Bacon for the first, showing that confidence when he had Sirker outside him, probably should have been at home revising for his A levels too

Wasps have now posted slightly clearer videos of the tries.
Good to see will Wilson back out there, it’s going to get boring too but Sirker cannot do a lot more at the moment to try and push for a place in the first team

Best moment for me is the pass from Oghre after the lineout. It's not a short tip on, or pull back, it's a big wide pass that's allowed us to completely overload the opposition. We'd already beaten them for numbers and still had another man on the wing, as well as support inside.

I though that was a superb try, pick of the night for me. Everything about it was so well worked: Seabrook in the scrum half position to make it look like we would set up for the drive, Oghre getting to 1st receiver so quickly, taking the pass, drawing his man, letting Bacon commit his man on the dummy run and then give it to the 9 and 10 in the middle of the park and then still have two ,ore dummy runners and a man on the outside.

Over these past 4 'A' games I've been most impressed with Cam Anderson at 15. I always thought he was a little light weight at 12 and lacked some of the technical attributes to play as a genuine 2nd 5/8 but he has looked so much better. I don't know if the decision to put him at 15 was out of expedience with Owain James injured or if it was a considered a genuine position for him to develop but I think he's done a great job.
