Doesn't actually mention Rugby but no different.

Interesting that the Edinburgh V Glasgow two matches at Murrayfield are being touted as a Scottish trial. Edinburgh are saying that discussions are progressing so more hope there as wee Jimmie seems to like being first to the decision.

I wouldn't be surprised if Wasps home games form part of the later stages of the trial. The Ricoh would be a good place to test social distancing in stadiums given its size compared to average attendances.

Temperature assessment on entry.
Mask use rigidly adhered to until seated then remove.
Seating using alternative seats giving c 15k capacity. ie free space in front, behind, and either side.

Start tomorrow.

Vaughn was on the Ruck podcast recent and talked about how they can get fans in and the changes they are looking to make with digital ticketing and cashless throughout the stadium. Talked alot about wasps, worth a listen.

Doesn't the temp recorded depend on where they point the gun..

I'm ginger, so I'm a hot head.

The temp thing surely proves nothing? The temp is a bounce back from the surface not what might be happening within the body?

I am sure if you ask nicely they can still do a rectal temperature assessment.  :)

If the body is hotter, the skin will be hotter. Yes, the skin will give a cooler reading than a rectal temp, but that's taken into consideration.

How big would you like it?

Actually the one we use every day in my house is quite brutal - thankfully it is inserted into the ear.
If any of us have a temperature my wife gets 2 weeks off work.

It seems unlikely we'll be back at the Ricoh this season unless we make the top 2. But hopefully whenever the next season actually starts, subject to any winter wave illnesses.

Next season programmed to start in November. If all goes well (big ask) we should be back in small numbers.
