It's really hard to know how things might go. Last season's games - such as going to Sarries and winning vs what was essentially their Euro team having a practice means anything is possible.

What seems apparent is that the squad plays regardless. Getting over the line vs Briz reinforced that view, for me. Whatever team is selected, they try and play as Wasps and we are currently confident that everyone can play their role and win games.

That doesn't mean we're bound to win vs Glaws - but it does suggest that the team playing will be confident to play just how they've trained and give us every chance.

Really pleased with Alfie at 6. That's going to be a royal pain to play against!

Pleased to see Umaga, Brad Shields and Willis not playing ...they destroyed us in March but we have a fair few omissions ourselves.  Conditions much better than the monsoon last year and should be a good running game with both side running it wide.

Hoping for bragging rights up here in Tier3shire, will be watching alongside my support bubble of Wasps fans, but not confident....as our French cousins say bon match....

I think Morris can do a stint at 2nd row, if absolutely necessary.

It should be close, Wasps have the form but we have 3 young, inexperienced forwards in the back 5, a Scrum Half on his Premiership debut and a 3rd choice inside centre.

Surely Wolstenholme isn't on debut? It's his first start in the prem though right?

What I like best about this is that we're without some of our big names.

We have Thomas Young as Captain, but still have Jimmy, JdJ and Gaskell all in the pitch who are leaders too.
I feel that JTA is also that kind of player

Its always nice to be able to look around and see senior players around who know what they're doing and can make good calls when required

As far as I can see his only other premiership game (except prem cup) was 5/9/20 ...

Glaws v Irish 35-23   Hope not an omen

Yes my mistake, first Premiership start for young Wolstenholme.

Hopefully, will give Vellacott something to prove if he gets on
