See pro14 are considering using weeks to put on postponed matches. Think this is something premiership should do

Oof if relegation weren't controversial enough, can you imagine if they replayed a game where a side that had been given the 4 points ended up with nothing, and ended up last at season's end by two points?

Personally I think it would be a good idea, but I can't see it happening

Article says "The Premiership has adopted a cancellation policy because there is no time to play postponed fixtures in a campaign that started more than two months late." So can't see them backtracking.
Two weekends rest probably best. Can't see PRL adjusting already fixed dates.

I know tv contracts are with EPCR but if BT asked Premiership ,with a little cash incentive, to put on cancelled games or bring some forward ? Anything’s possible

I'm sure England will try and slip a game or two in, probably played on the moon if they could make money out of it.

Should tell the French to take a hike and continue the Euros without them. Replace them in the 6N with the Georgians.

Do you think the Italians are keen to play England too?

Why not play rounds 7 & 8 and create space should the Heiny be replayed later?

No doubt there will be a decision tomorrow. Beyond that, it’s too late to make the necessary arrangements.

Totally agree with Neils, if they don't/won't play, the match should be given to the opposition as already agreed 5-0 pts. Why should the other 5 Nations be penalised? EU perhaps?

According to TRP the French want a 2 week delay. Sounds stupid and disruptive

Potentially tricky for aligning Pro14 in Europe too, especially if italian clubs have same stance, as the season has already been rejigged once to bring the final forward to the end of March and accommodate the Rainbow Cu.

That will not equitable. Either play as scheduled or forfeit. Precedents are already set within this years competitions, that will completely impact on the pool tables.

Watching yesterday’s games it seems that both Pat Lam and Rob Baxter were all for continuing with the premiership.
I’d agree with that, gives teams the chance to play more prem games with full squads before the 6 nations starts up.
Plus, think it was RB who said it, if you have 2 weeks off the players can’t be held inside their ‘bubble’ so adds more risk of COVID infection.
