Awful first half.

Sops costs us another 7 point. He isn't a 15 for god's shake.

Happy if we can get a Lbp.

Harlequins much better than us

We've been poor and Quins have finished off their chances whilst we haven't, however, would love to know what Pearce thinks he's doing out there.

I'm sure in his head he's the saviour of premiership rugby by making the game be played at the speed of light. In reality instead of applying the laws of the game he's just trotting round the pitch squawking use it at 2 second intervals. If that's all he's bringing to the party as an official we should let a parrot do the job instead.

Finally at end penalty off feet . Spotted two or three others that should have been pinged, plus that line out throw.
But when you’re going as well as quins the ref is going to give you the benefit.

This is going to be one of those days. Sopoaga in a mess and Umaga and Porter having stinkers. Not sure I've ever seen a knock on penalised with a "be careful" or seen a less straight line out. But we're just being outplayed in every department.

Was it Shaun's mantra - 'you rest, you rust'?

Pearce is a show pony.

He may be but he is not the reason we are 17 points down at HT. I would bring on Brookes and Miller for JTA and Sops at HT.

We’re just about to find out how good our coaches are.

I'm very much not enjoying this, but I can't blame the ref.  Yes that lineout was horrific, and yes he's letting Quins push at the breakdown, but that's what he does.  If we were actually competing then we'd be getting away with it too.  Umaga has made a few errors with the ball from hand, but has also made the most inch perfect kick to touch I have ever seen.  Porter's box kicking isn't consistent, and Sops is no 15, but the reason we are losing this is because Quins are winning it.

They have some of the best players in the country (Smith anyone?) and they are playing like they have a point to prove.  Because they do. Just like we did against Sarries not long ago.

The question is do we have the leadership to pull ourselves out of the hole we're in?

I'm not convinced we do.

Not looking good for YY, couple of weeks out for him, no doubt.

Good call and well predicted.
