It would be easier to move on if they had been more appropriately punished or shown contrition.
Some of their fans have, some haven't. Fair enough, that is to be expected. Fans have the right in a way to be wrong.
But the club itself has made a bad situation worse, and their media shills have added more cause for opprobrium, suggesting that they and the players are victims, and not victims of their own cupidity but of some mystical confluence of events conspring against them, or worse some nebulous jealously to see them punished for success.
I know we will never get justice, I have moved on from that, but I find it hard to forgive when it is not asked for. When they have not issued mea culpa, can you blame fans for withholding cash? To them it is all technical breaches and accounting errors, when in fact it was a systemic attempt to cheat the system, an attempt from which they benefit today as the team has not been dismantled.
So I salute the idea of moving on, but they need to show some contrition.
