I'm not sure, can't remember the entry points, but I suspect it might be 6 weeks, so 3 weeks is minimum, then another week off for attending the high tackle course, so down to 2.

Low End entry point is 2 weeks. Reduced to 1 week with admission, if they allow a training course, lose another week off that?

Rugby's ability to compound refereeing errors by banning players wrongly sent off or not citing players wrongly sin binned when they should have been sent off (Hepetema on Tom at Irish away last season being a prime example) rather than admitting the ref made an error is another reason why I'm fast losing my passion for the sport.

The Committee upheld the red card decision, finding that Shields had made contact with Kilcoyne’s head and neck area in a dangerous manner. It then determined that the offence was at the mid-range of World Rugby’s sanctions and selected six weeks as the appropriate entry point.

So not only was it a red card, but it was mid range?

And yet I haven't heard or seen anyone agreeing that it was even a red card?
