Got to be good to have a showing on a mainstream channel

Telegraph reporting the deal includes a weekly highlights show, 4 regular season matches live and the Premiership final.

Or do ITV pay BT for use of their cameras/ feed?

And do BT hope increased interest leads to more Subs?

And maybe BT don't care as they know they are selling up shortly (DAZN or Discovery)

The final will be on ITV 4, not the main channel, which is a bit odd. Personally I think it's a good thing for the Sport to have it's showpiece fixture free to air. If the match is anything like last season's final it will only boost interest in the league.

It could be that, apart from the final, ITV air games that BT aren't showing? If ITV aren't pinching BT viewers then maybe ITV won't need to pay BT for breach of exclusivity?

Ahh misinterpreted the arrangement. Can see why BT might want some form of reparations then

Assume the commentators and technical equipment will all what we are used to on BT - so they will charge ITV?

Would make sense for BT to charge ITV if ITV are using BT's equipment and tech. I don't imagine ITV will use BT's commentators
