Piss poor really but they hung in there. Exeter must be absolutely gutted that was the ultimate smash and grab. I’ll take a win any way we can get one but let’s not get carried away we huffed and puffed against a very weaken Exeter side. Well done boys played to end. Just watching the players on the pitch and Jo really doesn’t look to happy looks like they are quite concerned about his cheek, massive swelling! Hopes it’s nothing serious

BP win. More game time into the legs of Launchbury, Fekitoa, Odogwu and Barbeary. Any win at Sandy Park is hard to come by. What’s not to like.

We turned the radio commentary off in despair after 70 minutes.

I don’t believe what happened next. Lee should do tonight’s lottery.

I sometimes struggle to see the way you see games.
There’s a lack of perspective.
But each to their own.

We struggled at times because we tried to incorporate quite a few returning players, which disrupted our flow and understanding from previous weeks.
Yet, despite that and playing away, the boys still found a way of winning.
Away.
At Sandy Park.

Jeez, you see everything in black or white.

I think this was an incredible win, considering we weren’t clicking.

I’d kissed my tenner goodbye by 70 minutes - might treat myself to a decent bottle now to celebrate 🎉

Though Chiefs got away with a lot in their own 22 bit like Munster the other week.  Felt like anytime we got close to their line Barnes was talking to them to keep hands off, or roll away by which time they’d slowed the ball.  All very cynical and surprised Barnes’ wasn’t stronger on that.

Chiefs always play on that edge and frequently get away with it. Turning point was there non-try which was a dreadful mistake. We went to the end and came up with it!

I think we have to thank David Rose for that :o

Barnes seemed happy but Rose brought the error to his attention.

Yes, David Rose to thank for that, when Barnes seemed ready to not check it. Never thought I'd say it but well done Rosie. Still cannot forgive his previous though.

Hopwood I struggle to see what you see, you are aware that Exeter were thrown together as well, 25 players missing. I doubt very much Exeter have ever played anywhere near that team before.

We made very hard work off it. But we won and we should just celebrate that. Fingers crossed we got our bad game out of the way

“Fingers crossed”?
Jeez, you’ve never been inside a professional team’s dressing room.
There’s nothing ‘fingers crossed’ about it.

Not really sure what that means. Expectation wise some expected to win, some thought we’d lose (including me). It’s really irrelevant who Exeter had on the pitch. Away at Sandy Park is a difficult game. And they did have the likes of Hepburn, Innard, Yeandle, Capstick, O’Flaherty, Woodburn, Maunder, Simmonds etc who have loads of Prem experience. Let’s just enjoy the win. We’ve had enough skeleton squads ourself and other teams have taken advantage. If this is one back so be it.
