Write this one off. Revert to Umaga at 10 and Crossdale at 15 and give them a rollicking next week about discipline. Mistakes or even lack of ability I can take but sheer brainless lack of discipline is just stupid.

Couldn’t agree more.
Jacob isn’t a fullback.
But we need him on the pitch, as he’s our most creative player.

And we need more ball carriers. Everyone looks out of steam.
Missing Shields as others have alluded to.

No point putting Jacob at 10 if we're not going to play off 10. We've hardly seen Charlie with the ball because Dan in particular hasn't been feeding him.

I think that’s a self fulfilling prophecy BIND. I don’t want to criticise Atkinson as he’s got loads of development to go and I think in time could be a brilliant 12. But I’d prefer Umaga at 10 right now. And I think this game will force Blackett to revert back to that.

Shugs,

I agree. I wasn't criticising Charlie, it was more about our game plan and use of Jacob.

West is binding like Tim Payne used to, elbow pointing straight down.

App on iPad casts to Apple TV fine btw. Not sure I’m glad about it though!

I do think all front rows get sucked into the ego/we can be more cunning than you/scenario.
Rather than just presenting clean ball.

As much as we can win occasional penalties, we can also kill so much game time faffing around trying to get an edge.

Porter should have run that out, nothing to lose. Wasps of old would have done that.

Sounds like it's as good as last week was. Wheels falling off.

Just read the thread. Didn't bother watching tonight. Had a feeling it would be a poor game, and we would play badly. Seems to be our way. Still, all is not lost till the final whistle blows.

Understood. My point was Robson’s reticence to play off 10 might not be there were Umaga playing there.
