My 9am meeting with a Saracens season ticket holder in the morning should be fun!

Very entertaining evening 🐝👍

Thought the guys looked sharp, particularly in the 2nd half. Scrum solid, line out great. Back line looked sharp. Didn’t realise Miller was an amazing kicker, but he is!

The opposition looked very young to be fair.

Just got back from the game and haven’t yet read anything from BB but for me…..

Fairly enjoyable match. I think the score flattered Wasps a little but our experienced players - and Luke Mehson who took his chances very well - got us over the line.

Strong performances from Rob Miller, Nizaam and Ryan Mills ( particularly). No surprise that our bigger and more experienced pack were the difference. Steady performances by Cardall, Wolstenholme, Crossdale and Curran.

Saracens youngsters played very well and look promising.

I enjoyed the game, decent crowd and atmosphere considering the time and competition.
Was fairly close up until the last 10 mins.
A good run out for the lads who haven't had much game time recently.

p.s Highlights and Full match are up on the Prem website already

Quick post match tweet from BB:

Enjoyable match between Wasps & Saracens tonight. Luke Mehson scored his first (2nd, 3rd & 4th) Wasps tries. Miller had the ball on a string & Mills looked on another level too.
Curran took his chance & Carr also impressed. Lots to digest. Now, it’s home time.

Listened to the first half on the radio whilst in the car.  Radio commentator suggested only one stand open (not sure if East or West?) but that it was pretty full.  I hadn't seen any ads for free tickets for the game and wasn't included in STs.  Doubt very many of the Southern based fans bothered to travel up to Coventry for a 19:45 KO on a Tuesday to watch a second-string team play Saracens' third or fourth string team in a Cup that noone particularly cares about and that we're unlikely to qualify for (or definitely not qualifying for with Leicester winning).

Goes against the naysayers somewhat that there's not a fan base to be captured in Coventry who would be willing to pay for tickets (appreciate that tickets were v cheap).

also of note Pieter Scholtz played 63mins, which must be a record for him since he's been with us.

Just been watching.

Wished i'd been there rather than Saturday's :)

Miller, Mills and Carr all impressed. Wolstenholme has improved no end. TV3 was also impressive, and seemed to be an on-field "motivator".

Miller, particularly, showed he can kick like Gopperth, and had one of Wasps best fly-half performances of the season.

Can see why the soccer boys get upset about the cut-up field of play - mostly seems to be as a result of the ref making his marks. (Ref had a good game)
