Playing ability isn’t the primary concern for Jones’ selection. He has a weird criteria based on things only he knows.

Like picking Care.....I've had a long exchange with an Eddie fan elsewhere, who thinks I am taking the piss because I don't believe England are delivering on the "chaos" theory when I asked why Care now. As he's suggested England were "changing tactics" The only change I could see was selecting worse players and expecting to win....If Care was always going to fit a more fluid game - why was he every dropped...was a question that didn't go down v well....I'm too easy to wind up sometimes...and it's Jones' fans that get my goat (rant over....)

It must be one of the other 4......he believes that England are trying to play "chaos theory" but losing....I thought it was an excuse for losing....

The only time under Jones have England played differently, was in SA in 2018 for two tests with Scott W the Aussie backs coach who didn't stay....

Most of the time we've played well since 2015, is with most of Bomber's players, being directed to "England's trad strengths" c.f France 6Ns 2021....

I ask ordinary questions like "what evidence of change" and I get a press release style reply....Going to stop!
