Could have done without the 'bad day at the office' which sounds a bit glib. However, I do agree with quite a lot he said. I think we did leave 5 or 6 tries out there. If he's not going to stop playing Alfie at 8 then use him as a decoy, for he attracted 2 or 3 tacklers every time he carried the ball.

I wouldn’t go as far as saying Blackett was watching a different game but I do think he’s being kind on himself. The bottom line is our core skills are woeful and our decision making was flawed. That’s fairly fundamental.

Wow no idea what game Lee was watching, very concerning.

Having just looked at the table we’re fortunate that Glaws didn’t play this weekend otherwise we’d have the lowest points scored in the league after two rounds - something we never struggled with before.

IF West ad started the match and Alfie was not at No 8, I believe the result would have been a lot closer - we might even have sqeaked a W.

The next two games are pivotal - Bath away and Saints at home. R5 we go to Sandy Park.

If  Lee isn't careful the best players will start voting with their feet.  Heaven forfend.  But who wants to play for a permanently losing team.

We struggled with it last year?

Fortunately (or unfortunately depending which way you look at it), that isn’t really a thing in rugby.  Moves are typically more salary-cap driven than ‘winning’ driven.
