Seems to me to be a story of hopes, rather than certainties.

I wonder if they were hoping to have the deal done before that broke? If it's true, then it's probably time to say bye bye to Coventry (and hopefully they will get kicked out and Notts County re-instated!).

Gilbert suggesting that Wasps weren't aware of this until he broke the news... I hope we've not signed anything if it's true.

We can't be surprised at double dealing by them though. Probably trying to hide their actions whilst trying to get Wasps across the line.

The good news, if one can call it such, is that it will takes ages (years) to get to the Court, if they get leave to appeal. I have a feeling they will be turned down, as I am pretty sure this particular case is not suitable for the European Court, so they may get turned down at the first hurdle (getting permission to place it before the Court), but by the time that happens, six years will have lapsed since the sale, and that is the statute of limitations on civil action in a case of this type. In effect, this is the last throw of the dice. I think CCFC will implode fairly soon, if forced to play outside of Coventry. Their operating losses will be unsustainable.

They have to go, sadly.
Any double dealing involving Europeean courts has to be met by the boot.
As in take the badge down now.

The report says they are going to the European Commission  What's the  difference between that and  the European Court?

Where were they playing before we moved to the ricoh, and are they welcome back there?

The report says they are going to the European Commission  What's the  difference between that and  the European Court?

It might be that someone who has been fed the rumour has misheard but.. The European Court is a legal entity applying laws.. the European Commision is similar to a Houses of Parliament Select Committee .. i.e. politicians asking questions that the respondent doesn't  have an obligation to answer .. i.e. Facebook, Northern Rock, the Sports Direct owner Mike Ashton

The European Court isn't appelate so can't adjudicate on the case that has been happening currently. SISU can start a different approach but I'm not sure where they would go to start that.. or.. they can start lobbying EU politicians, arguing that the sale of the ricoh (in their view at below market value) constitutes as "state aid".

That could take years.. and CCFC have weeks or days to let the EFL know where they are playing next season.
