England Training Squad

https://www.premiershiprugby.com/2019/06/20/dombrandt-one-of-four-maiden-call-ups-for-englands-first-rugby-world-cup-training-camp/

Clearly not by any means the finished article, as EAs and Chiefs players still rested....but Nathan Hughes misses out, Dobbie is in, as is Brad - they were mooted as possible omissions. I am hoping that Dobbie's inclusion means he is fully fit as he is not marked as in for treatment.
It was fine when I left it.....

See that ED is still listed as a Wasps player.

When does he, officially, become a Saracen?

It depends when his contract finishes. Most probably run to the end of June.

So pleased to see Dobby in. That must do wonders for his morale.

Dan can't be clear yet. Probably included so they can do checks on progress and general fitness.

But still........... he's one of only two scrummies there.

I would bet on Spencer being considered as potentially part of the RWC squad in terms of EJ's thinking...

Great to see Robson included. I guess it can't mean he is clear yet but it can only be a good sign. To be honest I'm surprised how little has been said/reported/communicated about his progress. I've been sweating the fact that we could lose (possibly) the best scrum half in the league since it happened.

Excellent - now up to the club to say something. I would have thought it might have been with his inclusion announcement yesterday.

Good news for Robson

Is DVT something that can quickly resurface if you've suffered from it before? Do you have to keep taking a medication to keep on top of things?

As an aside, I do wonder what Care has done to EJ. He's been dropped like a stone.

In my view Care and Young are much of a muchness (Over the last 2 seasons I think both have been average at best), or is that the perceived problem, that one doesn't offer anything different to the other?
