Was on the Wasps site yesterday, and the main sponsor was Land Rover.

Today LR has gone and replaced by Vodaphone ...

Looks very tacky. The menu has an awful graduated filter at the bottom and the logo does not. Not that it could. But the menu looks awful. Always has.

IMO it is a pretty dire site anyway, so new branding does not change much.

However...

Just got back from the Ricoh, and LandRover is still listed as the main sponsor when you walk into the Atrium

I don't tend to use the wesbsite much (useful people here post links to articles which makes things easy), and less since the new (ish) design appeared last summer (or was it the summer before). The designers may have had mobile phone users in mind not us dinanours who still use a keyboard and mouse

The buzzword in web design nowadays is "responsive design" i.e. website adapts so it works on every device, so doing away with the need for  multi versions.

I don't know whee the current fashion for very image intensive websites came from, but if you live in an area like ours where we don't have fibre, and, on a good day we can get 2MB download speed, such sites are a PITA
