Great news that you have had expeditious and effective treatment.

There is nothing as scary as cardiac chest pain.

Well done the team in Coventry Walsgrave [bad name for a hospital IMO].

Best wishes NWW.

I think it was only recently you mentioned feeling you were having  a heart attack whilst watching a Wasps game! Cor blimey I thought it was only a figure of speech 🙃

You will have to support a different team if you have a heart problem.

Speedy recovery mate.

Steve.

Sarries win loads of games, nothing stressful could possibly happen for their supporters right?

Wow great to read you are still with us. Hopefully you'll make a full recovery and be back riding your bike in the spring.

Best wishes to you mate, glad your still here to enjoy life, shame you support a team that will be the anti to your condition.

So what NWW, my brother, hasn't revealed was that he was chasing sheep in a field at the time.. with Wellington Boots on..

NWW looks fine.. a bit battered and bruised.. was that from the sheep chasing or the nurses though?

A gentle reminder to myself and my other brother that life is too short

Chasing sheep with wellies on. I can see why he left out that fact. Rumours start off the back of that kind of accusation.  ;)

Maybe we can have a whip around and get you a blow up one.  8)

All the best with your recovery.

Good idea on the sheep. Once purchased a full sized one in Amsterdam for a Welsh colleague. He had major problems explaining it at home.
Let me tell you something cucumber

The specialist said that they thought the artery most likely had a small area of roughness that bits of blood particles had caught on and accumulated to block it. They ruled out cholesterol. There was no fat around the heart, and no indication anywhere else of cholesterol in the arteries or heart. There is no genetic factor (known) in the family. I don't (have never) smoke, don't drink much (not at the games, nor when I am out on my bike or driving). No high or low blood pressure. Heart rate prior to this was normal (resting rate was around 55 for example) and (despite my shape) I swam and went to the gym each week. I am not stressed, nor do I get much stressed (critical for a Wasps fan). All in all, a very low risk for a heart attack. But, it's all about numbers. Low risk is not no risk.

And the sheep thing is a scurrilous rumour.

All the best Nelly I had the same thing happen too me in 2015 ended up with a stent in each main artery. Follow your recovery programme and you will be fine. My heart has had a good test the last couple of seasons following Wasps 😀
