Saw that, does that indicate Lima is here next season as well? Searle has had rotten luck with us and his brief appearances post injury have not hit the mark.
It was fine when I left it.....

A bit disappointing. Assume this means that Lima is staying

Shame that we couldn’t be the team to help him reach his potential but all things considered, probably a good thing if he’s 3rd in the pecking order.

Hope it means Lima is staying and I’d expect us to be in for another ball playing 12 to cover both positions and challenge Jimmy for the 10 next year.

If Searle has been offered six figures as reported it's a no brainer for him and probably a no brainer for wasps not to match it.

Shame, but Umaga is clearly 1st choice for me at the moment, and looks like he can hold onto it.

Andy Goode reckons Sops out of contract this season, so as we suspected, maybe a 2+1.
Searle wasnt for me so wish him the best, not sure I'd want to keep Sops, depends how the rest of the season goes for me..i'll keep my options open on this one.

My initial reaction is I'm unhappy, but he's not worth 6 figures.

Simultaneously, if we are re-signing Sopoaga he's also not worth the money we pay him. Unless he becomes a world class fly half I won't be over the moon if he's re-signed.

Still no idea what other fly half/creative centre we're after, especially if Loz re-sign with Sarries. Nick Grigg doesn't count, he's a 13.

Lima has put I am going to miss you post to Searle on Instagram, Searle is off to Warriors next season, so it MAY (I said may) imply Lima is contracted through 20/21 season as well. I

s there another Academy 10 on their way up, I am not sure I have seen anything about the next Umaga off the production line? Jimmy will almost certainly hang up his first 15 boots after this season, and probably join the coaching staff. So I sense we will be in the market for a 10, Dai will have known about this for a while, so it won't be a shock and I suspect moves in the market are already underway.

Alex Goode may have a season or two in him, can anyone offer him part ownership of a static caravan in the Warwick area?
It was fine when I left it.....

Not too bothered by this, but obviously we need a replacement.

I never saw anything in him to think he'd be more than a squad player, but I completely understand that he'd have aspirations to at least be 2nd choice somewhere.

There was a really brief glimpse before his injury that showed he had some talent, but we never got an opportunity to see if that was a level that he could achieve consistently.

I don't think we need to sign another 10 to replace Searle, we have Umaga, Sops and Rob Miller. Neither of these play international rugby or have proved so far to be injury prone.

Hmmmm... I'm not sure

Miller has previously been our 3rd choice and has done fine when required.
However, it's always felt forced, not natural.

A genuine 3rd choice 10, and miller as 4th choice would be more comfortable
