Ryan Mills......
« on: February 26, 2020, 05:27:10 PM »
..has left Worcester Warriors. Is he joining Wasps?

I don’t know too much about him but I believe he’s highly rated.

Does anyone know anything?

There was some discussion on here about him, a few weeks ago. Mostly positive from what I can remember.

Based on Baths shopping spree wouldn't be surprised if he goes there

Quality, quality 12, best 12 not to represent England IMO. Covers 10 too.
Mooted to be asking for 300k which has put some suitors off. Sale look to be getting Loz, and with Redpath moving to Bath and Matevasi looking like he might get a perm deal..plus their other deals in the pipeline, I'm not sure he'll end up there, so i'll watch this one with interest.
Big yes from me if he saw Wasps as his home

According to that he's been given permission to speak to other clubs about a move next season. Nothing to suggest he has left or will leave and join another club mid-season. That said, if the option is there to have him join earlier then, especially with Booj and Juan out, we should do for it if possible.

Bath seem well stocked in the centre with Josh Matavesi and Cameron Redpath joining.

He is a QUALITY 12. I have watched quite a few games with him playing and always worried at his potential against us.

Does anyone want to come and play for us? I feel a bit unloved.  :-\

Seems to be a lot of movement out there, but none for us. Suppose you need a DOR and or a head coach first!

Really? I have seen vary little movement given its nearly March..other than Redpath and Webb as a temporary.
Rumors are just that.

Yeah not a lot of movement except for Sarries, Bristol, Exeter and Bath.

I'll add I'd not heard of Ryan Mills prior to you guys mentioning him, what's he like as a player?

Would he be a replacement for someone or just an additional signing?

Quality 12 and can provide 10 cover, also wouldn't have to relocate. He would provide necessary depth at 12, and with Searle going the other way would give us another option at Fly Half. I would welcome his signing.
It was fine when I left it.....

I guess that depends on whether Lima is staying, and whether Jimmy can keep playing for another season.

If I had to guess I'd say Lima may be off, and Jimmy will carry on playing, but perhaps start making the move into coaching. Which would leave a gap for an experienced 12 who can cover 10 to give Jacob what he needs to kick on.

Mills would be a quality signing. Can't see how it makes us over congested. 10 you'd have Umaga and Sopoaga with Mills (and Miller) covering. 12 Mills, MLB, Spink and hopefully JG.
