Thanks VV.  Day eight today.  The big cravings have eased.  Still not easy.

The first two weeks are the worst, then it slowly but surely starts to get easier. I'm 17 years without even one drag and sooooo wish I'd done it earlier.

I saw a  young George Smith a couple of days ago on TV and thought for  a moment that I was looking at Ashley!  Exactly the same hair style.

Looks like that boy could do with a good fish and chip supper!

Shame they're all shut though.

They aren't necessarily shut, takeaways are allowed to be open. My local chippy is still open, fish and chip supper last Friday  :D

On topic, bloody hell what a change! Well done Matt. Also would be interested to hear the story behind his retirement.

I should have told Matt that I was joking when I said he needed to hit the gym if he wanted to be my body double!!! :D

This just goes to show that inside every fat prop is a bronzed Adonis waiting to get out. I've yet to find the one inside of me, he's drowning in cider somewhere......
