Two things ....

1. Excellent feature by Stephen Jones on the retirement of Wasps’ Danielle (Nolly) Waterman. He says she is ‘the greatest full back that rugby has seen’. Nolly battled against  a catalogue of injuries to play for her club and country. 82 capped World Cup winner who received no recognition from the RFU upon her retirement. Sad.

2. In his article about a hypothetical England Probables v Possibles trial game Stuart Barnes selects Biyi Alo on the bench for the Possibles. A little unlikely I guess but it just shows what happens when your team shows some form.

Launchbury is in a difficult situation. Still one of the best around but will he be by the next World Cup.
Wonder if Ewells for example might start to edge him out or whether now Launchbury is a guarantee without Kruis around

I really don't think Ewells is that special. He's like Deacon, Borthwick - a decent player but nothing outstanding
