Surely it is not up to the shirt designers (who change every few years)  to alter the club logo -  which has been more or less the same for  over a hundred years.  Facing to the right is NOT right!  Didn't fancy the very footie-looking shirts either!  Sorry  and apologies to everyone; I'm not usually this grouchy.

I've had a look at the announcements of club tie-ins with Hummel for several football and handball clubs, and all seem to use the same basic image:

Club logo on left, Hummel image on right eith the words "Share The Game" between.

In all the images I've seen they use the Club's usual image, and that is continued through to the actual kit supplied. So don't know where the inverted Wasp, without the rugby ball, image posted by COYW15 came from.

However the one thing that does concern me is that Hummel do like to have a vertical line of bold Vs in a contrasting colour somewhere on the kit, usually shoulders and shorts.

Hope that won't distract from the hoops  :D

Some shared it on Twitter. Seemed to imply that hummel has posted their announcement using the 'new' badge, before removing the post it and replacing it with the current badge. Whether this is accurate I don't know. Could be a matter of just using a placeholder when creating the graphic, could be a case of the club agreeing a re-brand but are waiting to announce it. Time will tell.

Would always hope that the club badge would not be changed.
That said, was Stephen Vaughn in charge at Gloz when they changed their badge?

Combine hummel perpendicular stripes and Wasps hoops and  you could play noughts and crosses during boring matches.

As hummel do CCFC and new shops will be next to each other under south stand, wonder if hummel will run their shop as well? Would make sense around match days.

From the Offy -

hummel is represented in the UK and Ireland by its exclusive Brand Partner Elite Group who, as part of the agreement, will develop and deliver a comprehensive retail offering, as well as operate the Club’s physical and online retail stores.

Didn't realise they did the Wigan Warriors kit - just had a look and am now a bit more optimistic than previously

Likewise. Also I saw questions about whether a footy kit supplier could make robust enough kit but they do a number of RL teams so I don't think there are any problems there.

Both Wigan and Hull FC wearing Hummel kit in today's challenge cup quarter final, Hull in black and white hoops.
