This is a genuine question, not me being salty at the ref's call: What happened to the rule that said you have to give the player who has dived on the ball a chance to get to his feet before trying to jackal?

There have been a couple calls where players have dived on the ball and the second the touch it, they are being jackaled

You don’t have to let the player up, you just can’t go off your feet if you’re attacking the ball

You have never had to let the player get up, you just have to jackal / play the ball only not dive on or play the player

Ahh ok, thanks for clarifying

That’s a decent point in the end. Plus some game time for the likes of T Willis, J Willis and Mills. Not at our best but we’ve taken something from it.

We played like shite but we got back within 7 and got a point. Cannot be discounted.

While I’m pleased for the bonus point again we’ve waited until we are out of the game before we start to play. Score line makes a mockery of the match. Only thing I will say if you’d offered me 19pts from the last five matches before we’d played I’d have snapped your hand off

The score was close but it doesn’t sound that way. We got a point, we didn’t play well, the Willis brothers had a good run out.

Sounds like we have 2 injuries.

How did Ryan Mills play.

Also how was Jacob, was surprised he was full back, really only see him as a squad player

Mills had a good game, as did all the backs bar one - Robson.

Think we got 3 injuries all sounding longish -  Cruise shoulder, Fifita  hand and Hislop knee.

At least the Willis duo appeared to come through OK.

I’ve been one of Jacobs biggest critics recently but I thought he had a decent game today, struggled with few kicks but that was more to do with the wind than anything else. Robson had a stinker today and was very poor, the problem with that is when Robson plays well so do we, when he’s poor the team struggles

Harris doesn't sound too far off from the involvement he has had with Jack Willis recovery.
