The problem with that is we need to pay stewards for the maximum attendance. Which is fine if they turn up, beer and food covers that. But with freebies often they don't turn up.

If could average out at 15K paying punters, it would not be that much of an issue. If we could get that up to 20K then that is a real result. But that will require a team like that of the glory years to have any chance of achieving that.

I think there are enough characters in the squad, and enough potential stars that with some canny use of social media on the part of the players, actively supported by the club we could easily double the attendances in a few years.
