Weekend Fixtures - spoilers
« on: September 10, 2022, 03:50:00 PM »
Anyone else just fancy a chat instead of watching the bore fest  being served up by the champions and league hopefuls at the launch of this season.

Why is Ugo continuously praising the Tigers backfield and how well they cover and are able to catch on the full and then kick to find grass in the Exeter half. It’s getting them no where.
This is boring and Youngs is still awful.

Perhaps the pundits will call it two opponents sounding each other out, or a game of chess, whatever, Leicester are refusing to play and this is a horrible advert for the English game for anyone tuning in around the world.

Yup…I turned over quite quickly into the game.
I gave it a chance and have peaked back in.

But the cricket drew my attention away. Much more exciting and fascinating than that game of rugby.

Gopps only contributions so far - a kick charged down which led directly to Exe penalty try and also he missed a drop goal.

And yes, a bore fest poor kick tennis.

Not the Tigers debut he would have wanted. Burns is off having failed his HIA. Gopps to FH and a young Cockanasiga on.

Exeter winning at HT 17 - 6

Tigers try following a sequence of 11 kicks with not a tackle made and just one pass. The 12th kick was then charged down for the try.

And while the BT cameras are down at Exeter, there's a 10 try thriller unfolding at the other end of the country between Falcons and Quins.

Well if you'd been the programmer which one would you have chosen before the off? Hindsight is always 20/20 vision.
