I'm not convinced I'm gonna be able to watch this all the way through. It's not good viewing so far.

What's with all the ridiculous miss passes? It wasn't that long ago we used to actually throw the ball to another player rather than just lob it a long way down the line and hope it lands somewhere near someone.

Robson and Sopoaga are both having awful games re passes. And Daly yet again tossed a ball away to avoid contact - cost him a hit anyway AND 3 points. We have had over 60% possession and this is where we are? Marler is being his usual dirty self. That man is an animal.

I struggle with us being penalised for obstruction at the kick off, and then Quins doing exactly the same without any consequence.

It's a continuation of last Sunday so far. Too many basic mistakes and the penalty count is killing us. Big 40 needed desperately but based on events so far I'm not holding my breath.

When we have possession it feels like we are pushing the envelope a bit too much. Just do the simple stuff lads.

BT just reshown Ward spitting plus the previous "aggressive " kneck-roll. Hope this results in citing and long ban. A dirty dirty player. Doesn't help us though.

And that sums us up perfectly. We've been dominating the scrum, and yet when we have one on their 5m line we screw it up.

Based on our performances, anywhere between 7th and 9th in the table would be about right. If Bath and Leicester draw, we might stay in 7th, otherwise we are down to 8th. It is where we should be on this form, and not the 4th place we had held for weeks. Hey ho, onwards and downwards.

Regrettably 2nd best again today. 2nd half was slightly better and the replacements did make a difference. Special mention to Campagnaro who I like the look of, had a real go.

Still too many errors. On to Saints next week.

My god that was hard work.... Watching, not playing.

Our handling is letting us down time and again. It's often not a skills problem - these guys all know how to catch and pass, they've been doing it for years - it's a concentration problem.

I'm convinced that they're all so desperate to make that extra yard, make that little break, or send that stunning offload that they're thinking too much about it, rather than letting it happen naturally.

We need to go back a few steps and push through the forwards and tell them not to throw 50/50 offloads. They only become good choices when a team is confident and playing well.
For now, we need to go through phases, take contact, recycle.

We made yards through the forwards regularly and then one of them would throw a crazy offload and we turn it over

It's a cliche, but it's time to go back to basics

Well, if that's the one at  the end, the ref bottled the first one and as an old prop it was a reset for me on the second. When things aren't going for you it seems a never ending sequence.

Whilst its never a good look to criticise the ref, he was mystifying and unfortunately uneven in getting it wrong. Especially poor at breakdown/

I won't comment on the referee as I know even when I'm not inebriated I don't rate him so I'll limit myself to saying that Shields was very impressive in his first game as captain and save my anger and frustration to the pub and myself.
