Total crock of a story now goes to bed.
Well done to both club and player.

Agree, it was basically a rehash of an old piece of fiction. There does seem to be a very anti Wasps contingent of keyboard warriors out there, who just want to irritate us all.

Great news to start the weekend with. I guess Sharks have become aware of Daly breaking his contract with a clause and wanted a slice of that pie too.  Good on Launch for standing by his club and let's give him a rousing reception when he comes back from England duty!!

Nobody has commented on part of the following line from Dai in the statement

“We hope Joe goes well in the Six Nations along with the rest of his Wasps teammates and we look forward to them all returning to the Club later in the season.

Am I reading something into this which has additional meaning?

Anyway great news about Joe.

I suggested elsewhere that the podcasting and similar community seem almost to be trying to destabilise Wasps.
Regular papers I think a little less guilty, their news has been generally accurate with the exception of the Mail story last year which was a set of true facts cobbled into a steaming pile.
I think it is open season, a lot of midlands based fans resent Wasps' incursion, Sale resent our raiding of them a couple of years ago. Maybe the ill feeling is coming out now. Just seems a bit too anti Wasps, there is a stream if inaccurate stories about us, the same rumours don't abound about other clubs as often. Maybe I am paranoid.

It is interesting that Fissler even commented that he had heard the rumour and discounted it as rubbish . Whereas Rugby inside line (Saints mouthpiece) even said that Joe was seen at Sale. There does seem a concerted effort to make us wobble BUT we really aren't helping ourselves both as a club and on the other site. The amount of sh1t and bile vented there just feeds the fire and SBT.

The funniest thing was Rugby Pass then dispelling the rumour they started, perhaps one JournoBot is not integrated with another.

This for me is a huge psychological gain for the club, hopefully it will act as a catalyst for a boost in performance post 6N, assuming EJ the pantomime villain (as he is becoming at The Ricoh) doesn't knacker the England contingent. This is probably a transitional season for us, the incoming signings and Launch making a very clear rebuttal will make for great foundations to kick on from. Onward.
