Would be a fantastic signing meaning there would be a much smaller drop in quality and experience when Dobby is on England duty and with Wusty and Porter showing a fair bit of promise, the opportunity to learn from a hugely experienced international would be great for their development too

I found this explanation very helpful
Twitter had been giving me a lot of stress, this article has allayed a lot of fears- thank you for sharing

A lot of fans from both sides who have had balanced conversation have made this point:

It wouldn’t be the first time SISU have tried to distress an owner of the Ricoh in an attempt to acquire it on the cheap.

It smells like an attempt to get CCFC fans on side by making the right moves towards a new stadium and blaming us for all the wrong in the past.

It would be an absolute travesty for a hedge fund to destroy a sporting institution much older than the one it owns, purely from its own greed.

Let’s hope that the Karma from SISU trying to financially distress a charity comes back around.

Plenty of big lumps around SA and Australia that could still be tempted by the money up here I’m sure

Sure there’ll be a few SA locks who want some stability ahead of a possible breakaway from super rugby and a few NZ and AU players who’ll be free agents once their super rugby seasons are done, just in time for the start of the new NH season

Lots been said on twitter and I’m sure it’s of a very vocal minority, but lots of wishing for us to go bust.

It’s a real shame that there’s people wishing for the demise of a club that’s been around for over 150 years. At the end of the day we’re all fans of a sports team based in Coventry and you’d be hard pressed to find a Wasps fan who’s ideal situation wouldn’t be cohabiting the Ricoh with a Sisu-less CCFC.

In some respects, it’s probably why SISU are still there- it’s the fans who have the final say but they’re too busy pointing figures at everyone else rather than the ones running their club.

Think they’ll see that signing a comparable replacement at this time will be much more expensive, and may require buying someone out of contract from a different club

Photos definitely Lima, we were wrong that it was a teaser for his re-signing.

Brilliant news though- been our best player of the Ricoh era?

A blurred photo of what appears to be Lima is on Wasps’ twitter.

Looks like he’ll be the next contract announcement.

Great news if true as he’s been brilliant at 15 and believe Lee sees his long term future at Wasps there too.

The A team games that were streamed, Simmonds looked a step ahead at 12- was very impressed. Think we should be looking to him as the long term solution at 12.

May suggest that Gopperth might not be around too much longer but hopefully a year or 2 more with Gopps before he moves into the coaching team would be a perfect scenario

Think Lee’s past interview had a paragraph on recruitment and retainment. Think he all but confirmed Lima to stay and that he would be playing 15 next season.

He’s been brilliant there this year and with Mills and Miller confirmed and Gopps still being on the cards for next season, we’ll have plenty of depth at 10 to support Jacob.

Lima at 15 would also free up Minozzi to play on the wing where he looked much more dangerous for Italy

Confirmed

Respect that they’ve made it public ASAP and seems like the players are understanding of why this has needed to be done.

Finding it a bit tough to process what’s going on in the world atm especially without the consistency and relief sport provides.

Might be worth making some challenges that we can all contribute too. Maybe some stuff like the House of Rugby perfect pours.

Eg Wasps XV of players who could play out of position like YY in the centres. Smashley at 10 due to his love of kicking? ZZ as place kicker?

Common sense will (for once) prevail as it’s a very easy decision.

Sarries go down as they have been relegated. Falcons go up as they are miles ahead, unbeaten and are the only PRL shareholder that aren’t in the Premiership atm.
