The re-sale finished on the 4th July, so hoping I’ll find someone for them.

I have 4 spare tickets for the Saturday evening session if anyone’s interested.
£35 each, but happy to give 2 for 1 as just want to get some money back.

Didn’t see this game, but the combinations in the backs are just not working.
In particular Atkinson just doesn’t appear to be any threat with ball in hand and then those outside him are not strong enough either.
I know he’s inexperienced, but is Spink the type of player who is really going to be a threat.
For me, we need significant change- I’d go umaga, gopperth, odogwu, with Watson at full back, Bassett and tbc (hougaard, crossdale, kibirigie or even mehson)
More worrying is this pack is very decent on paper, but not performing at all. Again they haven’t played much with each other- but wonder whether we always need a real worker in there- shields, Morris.
Balance seems wrong.

I had ref link on and it was difficult to work out who was skip after Robson. Not sure Robson’s leadership was that great. First option, there was a lot of decision making dithering, we had scrum or line out and we went scrum, Then Given a free kick- should have tapped and gone and then conceded a pen from scrum.
The backs didn’t hit any fluidity, especially from 1st phase. Once the move ended up being mills being smashed by esterhuizen, when we normally switch inside to Bassett, or put odogwu away.
It obviously didn’t help when your captain is making big errors-kicking out on the full.
CMK dealt with our moaning very well, Oghre is by far the worst culprit and really doesn’t endear himself to refs- pointlessly calling that the ball was out. Ironically he conceded a pen when it wasn’t out and he went to get it.
Quins made few mistakes, but really think we have better options for fb than umaga. Interestingly, he hasn’t been in the team during this time.
Onwards…top 4 was very optimistic, top 8 probably more realistic.
My biggest concern is that we rely on big plays from our gun players, rather than team tries.

Thought backs were really poor today. I’m not sure where the praise of mills is coming from apart from game time.
Some of the tackling in the backs was shocking- beard’s 2nd try.
Really don’t think Atkinson, mills, Spink, umaga works well at all. Surprised jimmy was benched for today.
Atkinson needs to show more on the ball, he just shipped it today.
Robson, had a shocker, which happens.

They are very limited on the club website. In the last two years we have put 8 players a season into them. Scott Barrow references them today and loads are starting in these two matches.
The least the club could do is give us some information.
Following a team is all about watching young talent come through, can’t do that if we don’t know who they are!
Anyone got a connection and give the club a nudge?

Don’t want to be negative, but firstly Blackett said he was going to heavily rotate the squad,  now he’s said we’re getting trialists to play.
The spread is -18, that looks generous.
Think it’s going to be a long afternoon.

Horrific performance.
Played exactly the way Sale would have wanted.
They did nothing apart from not give away pens. Did we just think we could turn up and win? No intensity.
Yes some of the pens were nonsense but at least 75% were idiotic mistakes.
Take the line out rather than tap and go PLEASE!
Hope the wheels don’t come off now- JTA went back to his form pre lockdown.

Interesting perceptions on Barbeary and playing well in the champ- he’s played once.
Where’s he been this year?
He came out of school, got sent off in 20 seconds for England u20 and (I think) has played one game since then.

He looked very good playing for school but it seems it’s potential at the moment.

Totally agree about cruise.
Then launch. Straight through the middle, looks at ref.
He’s had an absolute fricking shocker.

Home banker.

Pearce is having a terrible game.

Young spins around offside at the ruck, no effect on anything and he correctly calls “play on, no effect on play,”
10 seconds later, Bristol knock it on 20m from the ruck. “Now it has an effect, penalty back by ruck”
I mean, you have to give the pen at the time.

We really don’t help ourself, the score should be 13-6 and the rest. Defence has been solid, we just don’t know how to use overlaps.
Can’t knock the commitment of Taylor, launch, Young, Willis.
