Truly one of the greats. One solo effort from his own 25 to beat most of the Rosslyn Park (?) team twice and score under the posts, at Coundon Rd in 1971 (?), was perhaps my single most enduring memory of rugby in those halcyon days. Not to mention THAT dummy in the Baa-Baas match.

He was my inspiration as a kid.

.....And mine.

The best player Coventry RUFC have produced. Legend and lovely bloke to boot.

Midlands Central (Wasps) held out at the end for a close victory in the end.

Some impressive performances by the Wasps and Wuss youngsters. Wasps forwards were dominant but Wuss had some exciting backs.

Don’t like to pick out individuals but I thought young Rueban Logan was very impressive. He plays like a young Tom Willis - very physical with good offloads.

Nice to see coach Ashley there on the touch line.

Best wishes to Lee. I respect he kept his own counsel about what went wrong and didn't take the opportunity to criticise or blame anyone.

Good luck Ben. It’s some consolation that Ben has some options to explore.

I wish him well.

According to TRP Tom West has joined Ealing for this season and next.

Tom West is too good to play at Championship level.

My affiliation depends on the number of Wasps players in the team!

+1. Hoping Bordeaux beat Gloucester as Tom is having a blinder.

Person on Twitter saying that the council should "enforce the clause that CCFC must be permitted to play at the CBS or the leasehold reverts to the council"
Anyone have any idea if such a clause exists & if it does why was it not raised before?

Person on Twitter is living in fantasy land.
