As VV says neither party really wanted a separation but Covid (and Agents) got in the way.

I did wonder recently watching the very few appearances he made whether he could be enticed back because he just didn't look happy in his rugby. Great news if he is the same hungry team player.

Loved the way he did for both Hughes and Piutai running down the touchline. This one is always in my memory.

Welcome back Nemo, joked about hime fitting the profile of a 6/8 that we were looking for and why we let him go in the first place on another thread but still did not see this coming.
Thought there was more of an issue last time than just agent interference, some fans who knew him closely near to where he lived alluded to him being treated quite poorly by the club when he wanted to stay - guess Vailanu leaving has freed up some cash.
He had a pretty successful year with the Bulls really so hopefully can inspire us to winning ways again

The Blue Bulls have tweeted to say he will be leaving them at the end of July, rather than at the end of the Currie Cup campaign (a week before our season is due to start), so presumably reporting for duty at Wasps mid to late August after 14 days of hotel quarantine.

Brilliant - I was only rewatching us roast the EAs in 2020 at Coventry and remembering how he fitted with us so well.....
