When there's been calls for all the academy guys to play in the senior team, this is the kind of performance they should have been putting in to justify it.
Sirker is unlikely to feature at the moment in the first team because Josh is likely first choice, and Watson is finally getting the run of games he needs. Add Daly to that and I don't see Sirker getting an opportunity immediately.
Umaga has obviously made the bench a few times recently and this may just be the extra nudge required to get some senior game time.... That being said, if Lima is available, he probably needs game time again... Then it's about whether Jacob or Miller should be the backup
