Do they? Nothing unusual with players leaving. Do you not remember the last few years for us? We were not in meltdown. Although, with this weather, then we all are right now.

At face value yes perhaps, with the departure of Ackerman the South African contingent are upping sticks and pursuing Yen. I think losing a DoR and Head Coach in quick succession has damaged their ability to retain players who were on the fence in terms of extending or leaving.

I take your point ref: Wasps but I have felt for a while that Gloucester ere going backward.

The leavers list at Quins yesterday looked a little more disruptive

I hadn't seen the full list, just looked at it and it is a long one, also rumoured that Ibitoye is off to the Top 14 with Agen. When you look at Wasps have done, we appear in more than reasonable shape compared to other clubs,

Are we safe to assume that Brad is staying put now, as there seems to be total silence and he did report back to Broadstreet for pre-season?

Ref Brad, I would assume he is staying as any other players leaving didn't return to training.

I see Gloucester have now announced an extended contract for Jonny May who they've only just re-signed from Tigers.  So they appear to have a plan in place to exploit the salary cap loophole.

Marshall, Mostert and Marais were all under contract for next season apparently.

Quins list looks long:
Francis Saili
- Harry Barlow
- James Bourton
- Niall Saunders
- Kyle Sinckler
- Lloyd Wheeldon
- Luke James
- Mark Lambert
- Max Crumpton
- Nick Auterac
- Phil Swainston
- Renaldo Bothma
- Rob Buchanan
- Semi Kunatani
- Toby Freeman
- Tom Penny
- Travis Ismaiel
- Vereniki Goneva
Not sure when Robshaws going?

but I'd say only 2 nailed on starters, with maybe another 2 or 3 match day squad players, so not really that bad

Throw in the turmoil at Tigers as well. They too, are having a big change of personnel.

Just seen that Robshaw has signed a temporary extension to stay at Quinns for the end of this season, so won't be off till next season starts.

For Glaws the one they will be upset about is Aaron Hinkley. he has looked superb at England u20 level, it would be like Wasps losing Tom Willis.

What leaps out of this is what good shape we are in. Settled, key names secured and a couple of long term injuries coming back. With Mills I think we've now got good depth all around the pitch. Could be a good end/new season!
