Well, at least it'll give the football club an excuse whenever they lose...

The problem for me is there will always be a tipping point when players have to tackle as the game is not going away. So is it better to train good technique from the start and practice it from the start or expect it to fall in to place further down the line. I worry it might lead to more serious injuries in the long run if the transition comes later. I do agree with Ross that with whole front rows etc being available on 50-60 minutes there is no way size and therefore impacts are going to reduce. Maybe keeping 8 on the bench to ensure a “whole” game can be played at scrum time etc but limit the amount that can be used to 5 with the rest just being available to cover injury?

Sounds good in principle but who is going to decide if someone is really Injured? Some will be obvious but like H I A open to a degree of interpretation. Maybe a maximum of 5 in total.

Enforce a 2 week rest period for players that are subbed because of injury? If a coach is saying that a player is so injured they can't possibly finish the game then the player needs time to recover.

No use in the playoff final but could be enough of a deterrent most of the time.

Based on the fact that 2 of my gymnasts brothers go there, and they are both in the "Wasps System" I think RGS is still a Wasps  feeder school.
Nice one. Thanks.

Is RGS High Wycombe still in Wasps academy catchment area?

Are there any performance clauses in EJ's contact extension? I know the RFU were obsessed with world cup results but, dear lord, I hope they put some sort of minimum 6 Nations and summer tour result clause in place.

Tonga had Fekitoa, Puitau and Israel Folau in that back line 😳

I'm surprised at Le Roux on the wing. Gaskell will have played with Cueto at Sale who I think I'd prefer at wing.

Brian promoted the article with an amusing tweet:

I recommend they go on strike, but most of them don't know what that is:)

No wonder Alfie wanted to move to the back row!

The "analysis" from Simon Gilbert is interesting, in that it doesn't analyse the current situation at all but just seems to moan about the stadium not being sold to ccfc.

His explosive NFL power running is just what Eddie is looking for in a no. 8!

He might end up in France for a year. Even D2. He might have left it too late in the transfer window for most English clubs.

I can't help thinking - if he was coming to Wasps this would have all been wound up without much media speculation. If Wade wanted to come back to Wasps he would contact us directly. And if Wasps wanted Wade we would have done a deal. (It's possible Wade wanted more than Wasps offered). That Wade is touting himself around the media makes me think he's not coming to Wasps.

Put in plenty of hard yards on the pitch for us. Never disappointed to see his name on the team sheet. Good luck in your future endeavours, James.

Initially didn't England offer him a job with the Saxons when Wales offered him the full international side.

I think there's some sense in Danny's remarks here. I think the RFU have possibly been deliberately avoiding Shaun, because if they hired him now and England did well - well, why didn't the RFU hire him 15 years ago or whenever it was.
