I missed this, anyway thought I would bring it to your attention....

The lesser-known Guy Armitage has quietly gone about the business of switching codes to Rugby League.

After stints at Wasps, London Irish, London Scottish and London Welsh, Jersey Reds and Ealing Trailfinders, the second youngest of the Armitage brothers rugby dynasty is looking to kick start a career in the thirteen man code at Doncaster Rugby League.

Has to be seen to be believed, https://www.givemesport.com/1486180-rugby-league-player-joe-westerman-slapped-his-dislocated-knee-into-place-and-continued-playing, he carried on playing. Then my mind immediately flips to Wendyballer Neymar and sees a polar view.

Wasps Rugby Discussion / Springboks Training Squad
« on: June 23, 2019, 06:55:50 PM »
WLR is in, as you would expect, as is Leyds. This is the training squad, so could of course change. Leyds may now be closer to a decision.

Wasps Rugby Discussion / Premiership Rugby - Season Review, Wasps
« on: June 20, 2019, 01:43:01 PM »
https://www.premiershiprugby.com/2019/06/20/season-review-wasps/

Hmmm, a massive error in the second paragraph...

'Dai Young’s side narrowly missed out on celebrating an opening day win, suffering a 21-20 defeat to Worcester Warriors at Sixways Stadium.'

Do journalists not do any thorough research anymore, or was this a matter of unable to read?

Wasps Rugby Discussion / England Training Squad

Clearly not by any means the finished article, as EAs and Chiefs players still rested....but Nathan Hughes misses out, Dobbie is in, as is Brad - they were mooted as possible omissions. I am hoping that Dobbie's inclusion means he is fully fit as he is not marked as in for treatment.

Wasps Rugby Discussion / Henry Purdy
« on: May 27, 2019, 08:26:16 PM »
Leaving Glaws, not sure where he is bound if anywhere but could he do a job, plays on the wing and centre. I have only seen him fleetingly but he looked accomplished, the worry would be he has been injury prone. EQP and age on his side, a level of versatility....thoughts?

Wasps Rugby Discussion / Predictions for Today
« on: May 25, 2019, 08:44:41 AM »
Glaws to pull off a shock at The EAs, our former number ten to orchestrate a shock victory.
Chiefs to win a close one, however they will need to neutralise Reinach.
Glasgow to win, home city advantage and I just have a feeling.

CHANGE IN NUMBER OF TRIES COMPARED TO LAST SEASON FROM RIL.

You can clearly see the impact Christian leaving for NFL had on our scoring. I won't mention our former number 10 but I suspect that and Jimmy being out removed some of our creativity and also impacted us.
