watched harlequins vs. Northampton yesterday some good rugby played but I only remember 1 Northampton scrum where they din't milk a penalty also a few of harlys put ins, it became quite depressing, surely this is not the way rugby should be played, the scrum should just be a way of restarting the game not a penalty machine, by all means award a free kick if you have the upper hand. Is there any other game where your penalised for not being as good as your opoinent, anyway harleys were better in every other respect.

I see Dan Du Preez of Sale has banned for three weeks for a reckless clear out, which we all saw but the TMO and reff. thought was OK, does anyone think the reff. and TMO should also be sanctioned, the charge being putting players at risk. Is it not about time officials faced up to their incompetence. Thoughts.

I just timed OF time from electing to kick a penalty, 1 min. 30 sec., I thought only 1 min. was allowed please correct me if i'm wrong, is it just a conversion, much the same as use it at the scrum.
