Apparently Sam James coaches Manchester 1st team and so not in bubble ( suggestion from sale fan) .
Wonder if our pt time coaches (Gopperth Umaga etc) are still helping local teams or been asked to stop

Bristol city have a 3:00 ko on 24th so could it be used? Even if it was used in evening would there be time to deep clean areas ?

It could also be about logistics of testing how people get to grounds as much as as size of stadia. I guess most people going to stoop go by bus or train. But could you imagine say 20k going over road to hq? Hoping that people would arrive earlier to spread load on public transport would be like expecting to get a Covid test straight away

With red cards like these, in the future do you think an offenders ban time should be no games till victim recovered and say plus 2 weeks/matches ? Would really concentrate decision making for going in hard and high.

in email to Saracens STHs  new chairman? Golding appointed (9th jan)  says he hadn't been asked since taking over about his view re release of report. So when Sarries given ultimatum he didn't think to mention it was ok to go ahead and publish?

Childs also said yesterday that in the unlikely event that Saracens overcome their 35-point deduction to finish in fourth — they are 29 points behind fourth-placed Sale with 14 games to go — they would not be allowed to compete in the play-offs.

“The current thinking is that if they hit top four, they won’t be participating in the play-offs,” Childs said. “The fifth-placed club will take part instead. We are still working through the final details. This is a club that for four years in a row has failed to demonstrate its compliance with the league’s regulations.”

I thought they were being relegated , where has this come from?

if i were HMRC i think i would be interested in looking at their books too

so according to Brad Barret, if they go down they would hope to keep the team intact, wolf pack spirit and all that BS, so surely
(don't call me Shirley) when they are promoted they will still be over the cap, it beggars belief what is going through their minds.

paragraph in DM report today states that salary cap still applies to a PRL shareholder club down in the championship. if true Sarries would still have to get rid of players more or less straightaway rather than hanging on till end of next season
